CHAPCA Town Hall: Advocating for CHAPCA Members in 2020
Friday, October 30, 2020, 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM PST
Category: Live Webinar

You are invited to our  Virtual Town Hall to discuss a summary of the primary activities advocating for CHAPCA members in 2020. CHAPCA and Clear Advocacy has been hard at work for our Hospice and Palliative Care providers in California throughout such a challenging year.  In addition to the three bills below, hear about the work we conducted on Gubernatorial Executive Orders, our successful efforts to engage Congress, the Senate, and the Executive Branch to ensure hospice could use telehealth in the 1135 waiver, and other administrative and executive branch activities.

Senate Bill 275 (Pan); Healthcare and Essential Workers; Personal Protective Equipment. Chapter 301, Statutes of 2020.

Assembly Bill 890 (Wood); Nurse Practitioners; Scope of Practice; Practice Without Standardized Procedures. Chapter 265, Statutes of 2020.

Assembly Bill 1544 (Gipson); Community Paramedicine or Triage to Triage to Alternate Destination Act. Chapter 138, Statutes of 2020.

Presented by Sheila Clark, President & CEO |California Hospice and Palliative Care Association
