About Us

Kathy Ahearn RN, BSN, PHNACHC Certified Consultant     

Kathy Ahearn possesses a dual Bachelor’s in both Nursing and Social Work. She serves as the CEO and Founder of ALECC, Inc. The vision of ALECC, Inc. is to provide leadership, education, coordination, and consulting to agencies in the post-acute care setting. After many years of working in all aspects of post-acute care, Kathy provides a unique ability to identify agency challenges quickly, offering solutions and an implementation plan.

Kathy has helped to develop pain scales to standardize pain assessment with the American Pain Society and the Joint Commission. She also worked in Medical Device and Managed Care world developing cloud-based software in the diabetic disease state to assist patients and the medical team with real-time data collection and interventions, ultimately improving outcomes.

Kathy’s passion for healthcare began due to a disabled parent, and later a child living with a chronic disease state. She has dedicated her life to improving all aspects of healthcare, for the patient, caregiver, clinician, and provider.
