Hospice PEPPER: A Step-by-Step Guide to Interpreting and Analyzing the Report

Tuesday, April 28

10:30 a.m. -12:00 p.m.

Are you part of the 84% that have not accessed your PEPPER report? CHAPCA wants to help you change that!

The 84% of California hospice providers that fail to download, review, and analyze their Program for Evaluating Payment Patterns Electronic Report (PEPPER) data can result in inability to compare claims data over time and identify potential areas of payment vulnerability. The PEPPER Report is intended to serve as an “educational tool”; however, very few hospices know how to analyze the 11 target area and other PEPPER Report elements to self-identify and self-correct any areas of payment vulnerability.

Our guest speaker, Carrie Cooley from Weatherbee Resources, will review the hospice's most recent PEPPER Report.  Carrie will guide our participants on how to properly analyze the 11 target and other PEPPER Report elements to self-identify and self-correct any areas of payment vulnerability.
