FY2022 Final Rule Description: 

The FY2022 final Hospice payment and quality reporting program update final rule was released on July 29.  While it does not stray far from what was proposed, there are changes.  Join CHAPCA Associate member Kathy Ahearn of Ahearn Advisement Partners and Sheila Clark, CHAPCA President & CEO, as they provide the details of why the payment rate update dropped to 2.0%, the changes to the calculation of the labor share amounts for each of the four levels of care, and all the details about the new composite quality measure – the Hospice Care Index.  An analysis of the impact of the changes and what hospices should do now to prepare for a significantly different year ahead will be shared.
