Education and Conferences
Each event is planned with you in mind, examining issues, trends, and recent developments affecting you and your work. Programs take place in person, and via audio-conferences, video conferences and webinars.
Our goal is to ensure that all educational participants are better informed and have a renewed sense of commitment to delivering quality end-of-life care to their patients and families. Join us to learn new information and skills and find people with shared interests. Registration discounts are available for CHAPCA members.
Education Partnerships
CHAPCA often partners with other healthcare organizations to present top quality educational programs to our members. Our two most recent partnerships are with HEN - the Hospice Education Network, and the Human Capital Academy with whom we will host a series of one-day workshops entitled "Disney's Approach to Quality Service for Healthcare Professionals" created by The Disney Institute.
Continuing Education Credit
CHAPCA is an accredited provider of continuing education credit for Physicians, Registered Nurses, Social Workers, and chaplains. Most CHAPCA programs can be used to meet Licensed Vocational Nurses and CNA/HHA continuing education requirements. Check individual programs for CEU credit.
Tax Deduction
All expenses for Continuing Management Education (including registration fees, travel, meals and lodging) taken to maintain and improve professional skills are tax deductible. (Treas. Reg. L162-5 Coughlin v. Commissioner, 203 F2d 307).
